SteelBlue’s Open Door: 2025 First Quarter Review

I'm excited to share that our team is off to a fantastic start in 2025, having just completed one of our best quarters in SteelBlue's history. Last month, we kicked off the trade show season at the Self-StorageAssociation (SSA) Spring Conference, where we hosted a successful golf tournament in partnership with Storage Building Company (SBC). The event provided a great opportunity for many attendees to connect with one another regarding future projects in the storage industry I look forward to building upon this momentum as we focus on solidifying our product offerings, improving our cost structure to accommodate the known tariffs, and expanding our team with top talent.

As mentioned last quarter, the team completed testing for our upcoming wind-load door.  As the final step, we are awaiting official approval from the Florida Building Code aspart of their upcoming hearing in May. Once we receive the approvals, we will begin manufacturing and shipping the wind-load door, which will be showcased at the Inside Self-Storage (ISS) Expo. Be sure to visit us at booth #1113 to see it in person. I look forward to seeing you at the show.

Other exciting news, we are set to receive additional new equipment in May, including two new guide roll-formers that will complement both our 9530 and 1270 Series Door Products. This new addition marks a significant advancement in our productivity and precision, enhancing our manufacturing efficiency and allowing us to meet the growing demand for our products. In light of potential tariffs, this investment highlights our commitment to remain competitive and improving our quality.

I often say this, but the team we have built here at SteelBlue is unmatched. Thanks to our talented people, we have become notarized as a leader in the industry. We are continuing to expand our team with top talent, and our most recent addition is Dale Hall. Dale brings a wealth of experience and knowledge from the agricultural and metal building business and will lead our door-only sales initiative across the US. This initiative is in response to the growing demand for servicing customers with frequent quick-turn orders for metal roll-up doors. With Dale's leadership, we are confident that we can continue to be the premier brand for metal roll-up doors to service this market. Please join us in welcoming Dale Hall to the SteelBlue team.

Lastly, we are dedicated to driving innovation and excellence across all departments. By embracing new technologies, streamlining workflows, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, we are enhancing our efficiency to deliver even greater value. Guided by our new core value of urgency, we are acting with speed and focus to refine our execution processes, ensuring precision and agility to meet and exceed expectations in a dynamic marketplace. Our unwavering commitment to customer service is central to everything we do; we actively listen to our customers, anticipate their needs, and provide personalized solutions beyond their expectations. These efforts reinforce our dedication to excellence and position us for long-term success.

As always, we thank you for your continued partnership, support, and interest in SteelBlue.  Building Tomorrow, Today…We Win Together!
