SteelBlue’s Open Door: 2023 Second Quarter Review
I write this to you as the team, and I have concluded our monthly leadership team meeting. It’s always a great time having the team together as we celebrate the wins and leave with solid actionable items and next steps that will continue making SteelBlue your partner of choice. Over the past six months, we have continued to experience tremendous growth, completed the Company’s move to our larger production facility, and have installed five new pieces of equipment to accommodate our sales volume and production capacity. Additionally, we have been evolving our product offerings to enhance the performance, quality and aesthetic of our doors and hallways. We, as an organization and you, our customer, have a lot to look forward to as we move into the second half of 2023.
The growth of SteeBlue is nothing short of amazing and we are appreciative of our Customer and Vendor Partners that have supported us in getting us to where we are today. The culture and core values we have set in place have been a foundational source of our growth and success. I want to thank Brett Barber and his Sales Team for their incredible work and commitment to our Customer Partnerships. It’s our growing list of Customers who have provided us with repeat business and have trusted us to deliver on our commitments. I would also like to thank our Chief Marketing Officer, Ashley Harper, for her dedication and commitment to accelerating SteelBlue’s branding, social media, and marketing that continues to support SteelBlue’s presence in the marketplace. Lastly, with our growth, we have hired many new faces in the company, and with that comes a heightened focus on training and departmental communications to ensure our processes are streamlined amongst the entire organization to guarantee you receive the same great experience with SteelBlue every time.
We are now settled in our new 120,000 SF manufacturing facility located in Georgetown, KY, and that is big thanks to Bray Allen, our COO; Vic Hogan, our Plant Manager; John Satterfield, our Director of IT/IS; Sydney Hogan, our Director of Transportation, and many more. This facility will provide the capacity and space to keep up with the demand, expand into new product capabilities, and continue growing our manufacturing team. We are planning to add additional production equipment in the coming months to improve our efficiency, lead-times, and delivery schedules.
Finally, I want to share some product details that I’m personally looking forward to from our product development team that Bray Allen and Brad Astolos run. As mentioned in the last update, we have received our new roll former, and the team has completed testing on our next generation door, the 9530 Series, that will be unveiled at the upcoming SSA Fall Show in Las Vegas. If you are attending the upcoming show, I encourage you to stop by our booth and see our new products in person. Any orders placed now will be shipped with the industry-standard roll-up curtain profile and enhanced design. I encourage you to sign up for our newsletter so you can be the first to know when these product enhancements are released.
The team and I are proud of everything we have accomplished thus far and look forward to an exciting second half of 2023 and beyond. We are excited about our continued evolution and growth and will continue to push forward with dedication and commitment to you, our Customer. Again, we thank you for your partnership, support, and continued interest in SteelBlue. Building Tomorrow, Today...We Win Together!
